As a few others have pointed out here, this album has a lot of old school doom metal flavor in its crushing, heavy guitar work (early Sabbath, Pentagram, Trouble, etc.). Add some swords & sorcery flair and you've got something special. While not as bombastic or epic as the likes of Candlemass or Smoulder, this tickles the brain of those who enjoy that old school late 70s/early 80s metal sound. caffeinatedmetalhead
