Studies show that women still face challenges today in corporate America receiving equal opportunities and pay as their male counterparts. This was tough during my 25 years in banking & HR, but even moreso as a single mom. There wasn't another parent to buffer the demands of career; I was blessed with a supportive family. My son is grown now, but I empathize with parents and the various roles they fill. These are a few reasons I'm happier working online instead of the corporate maze.
