Clematis
Clematis are a climbing plant of the buttercup family which bears white, pink, or purple flowers and feathery seeds. Several kinds are cultivated as ornamentals.They can be used to create a feature of a pergola or trellis, to hide or obscure unsightly things like bare walls or creating structure by adding height to a border. They are also a haven for wildlife and bring butterflies and bees into the garden.

Clematis, Rouge Cardinal
'Rouge Cardinal' Clematis is a vigorous variety of clematis. It produces a stunning show of deep crimson flowers with deep cut midribs and pale cream anthers. They are quite a size too, reaching to around 15cm in diameter. These are produced in profusion through summer and into autumn and are followed by lovely spindly seedheads.

'Sunset' provides a fantastic shock of colour to the summer garden. The single flowers are huge, 15cm in diameter, and are a rich plum-pink streaked with deep crimson bars resembling an intense sunset. The central anthers are a pale creamy gold and are shown off beautifully against the shocking pink backdrop.

Clematis x fargesioides 'Summer Snow' is an exceptionally vigorous climber that will happily cover a shed or an eyesore, clothe a wall or scramble over an arch or pergola. It is also very happy as ground cover and, after the first year's pruning, can be left to cover a large area of bare soil.
