Okay, let's make a delicious chicken casserole and I'm telling you what, this is a delicious one. I know there are a ton of different kinds but this one will be a favorite and it's easy. Y'all will love it. Okay, let's get going with it. What we're going to start off with is I have my pot here. I have already boiled my pasta. I have it over here draining using the same pot here. We're going to get our little like sauce mixture, I guess you could say, mixed up. So, I have eight ounces of cream cheese here. Now, I just bought the kind in the tub since I was buying it for this but you can use the block any kind that you want and I'm thinking we're going to do about six ounces of this. So, a little bit over half That's what I think I'm going to do. About six. Okay? Put that in there. And then we have eight ounces of sour cream. We're going to put this whole little container in there. The whole eight ounces. Um so whenever I first started doing these videos y'all this was one of the recipes that I did in the very beginning. And my phone started ringing. And the sound and volume and everything on the video got messed up. Well, I went on ahead and posted it anyway and really what I should have done was just redone it but I didn't. I posted anyway and it's been a very popular recipe but I thought, you know what? I need to do that again because that is so aggravating to try to watch it whenever I was looking back in my videos the other day. So, that's what we're going to do. We are going to re redo it and this is just a can of cream of chicken like I said, it's a very very good little casserole. It's very kid friendly. Um everybody will love it and it makes a lot too. Alright, so we got our can of cream of chicken. We've got eight ounces of sour cream, about six ounces of cream cheese, okay? And I have a little bit of milk here that I'm going to put in. Now, listen, if I didn't have this milk in the fridge, I would not buy milk for this recipe. You can you can use it or you can leave it out. Y'all know I don't I want to do about one fourth of a cup. Y'all know I tell y'all I don't have milk that often because we just don't use it. I did when my boys were growing up. But I bought this the other day because I was making that macaroni and cheese you know for Braden's birthday. Um and then we use some more for our grotten potatoes. Which y'all that dish was so good. Y'all gotta try that. Now now let me get sidetracked here. But anyway so I was glad to be able to use that milk in this recipe. But we're also going to put some of our pasta water in there. So you don't have to have the milk. If you've got it good. If you don't don't worry about it. Okay? Now we're going put some spices in. We're going to do a little bit of onion powder. Just a sprinkle because we're going to put a little bit of ranch seasoning in this. Garlic powder which all these seasons is in the ranch too but I like to put a little bit of this too. So, onion powder, garlic powder, little bit of parsley. Let's see here. We're going to I'm going to take that off because it's just easier to get out. So, that's probably about half a tablespoon give or take. We're going to do some pepper. We're not going to do any salt because we're going to do some of the ranch and it's salty. So, just sprinkle a little pepper in and then I have my ranch packet here y'all. Now, for this, you can do however much you want. I'm going to start with about a tablespoon because this is pretty strong and I don't want it to overtake the casserole. I do want to be able to taste it a little bit but not too much. So, we're going to start with with one tablespoon and then we'll taste it and we might a little bit more, okay? One tablespoon. So that's why we're not adding salt because y'all know that stuff is salty. Okay? Now, we're going to put in about one cup of cheese. It's just some that I grated up yesterday. So, let's see. About a cup. Okay, y'all. That is all we have to do except for mixing in our chicken and our pasta and our pasta water. So, what I'm going to do, I have my burner here just on a very low setting. I'm just going to let all of this melt down. Let that cream cheese melt. Let all this get good mixed up whenever I come back, we'll throw in our pasta, our chicken, our little bit of pasta water, and then we're going to toss it in the oven. It's that easy. Okay, y'all. If you can see here, everything's pretty smooth. You don't have to wait for like that shredded cheese and all that to melt. Mostly just until you can get your cream cheese to smooth out. That's all you have to do. Alright, now we have 12 ounces of egg noodles here. Now, I cooked these egg noodles y'all for exactly 5 minutes. I timed it. I let my water come to a boil and then I tossed them in for five minutes and then drained them because we're going to cook this in the oven so we don't want to overcook and have mushy pasta. Y'all know how I tell y'all about that all the time. And don't worry, we're putting some of that pasta water in but that's why I like to wait with the pasta water. That way we can see exactly how much liquid we need after we get everything in there which I'm going to put some in before we do our our chicken. So, we have our egg noodles. Now, I have my pasta water here which you can see is a little bit flavored in it. I put whenever I was boiling the pasta put in some chicken bouillon and a little bit of butter. Now, we have put in exactly one cup of our pasta water but seasoning it like that just makes it so much better whenever you put it in your casserole like this. It just adds so much more flavor to your dish. Look at that y'all. Don't that already look good I love this casserole and I know y'all will too. Some of you may have seen this whenever I did it before. Some of you may not. So, this is just what I wanted to make today. It sounded good. I wanted to share it. Okay. Let's get our chicken. I have about two cups of chicken here. This is just a rotisserie chicken that I just now diced up and I left it in pretty big pieces because y'all know once we stir it, it's going to kind of fall apart. So, I kind of left it a little bit chunky but now, this is a perfect dish to do with leftover chicken. If you have leftover grilled chicken, leftover rotisserie Chicken, boiled chicken. You can saute it. You can do any kind of chicken you want. Y'all know that. Y'all know I tell y'all that all the time. Use what kind you have. Alright, let me get me a spoon. We're going to do a quick taste test to see if we need to add anymore ranch or salt or anything. I'm just going to taste a noodle. Mm mm mm. That is good. Only thing we're going to do is add a little bit more of our pasta water. So that was about a fourth of a cup. So one and one fourth cup of pasta water. I think the flavor is great. And I think it will be really good. Okay? I have my little pan here. Let me back y'all up. Um this was one that I bought the other day for Brayden's birthday and I didn't end up using it. So I'm going easy tonight y'all and I'm going to use it. And we're just going to toss it in there but you can definitely do just a nine by 13 y'all see how much it makes but see you want it to be real creamy like that since we're going to cook it in that way you don't end up with a dry casserole you know what I mean so use your pasta water or milk whichever you want to do you can use both like I did or you can do just one or the other okay alright now only thing I'm going to do I'm going to cover this with foil and my oven on fifty. I'm going to pop it in there for probably about 20 minutes. Then I'll get it out. Take the foil off. Sprinkle a little bit more cheese on top. And pop it back in there for probably 510 minutes. And that's going to be it. Our casserole will be done. But look at this. Oh these little pans scare me. I'm going to have to get out of one of my cookie sheets set under it. But anyway y'all 20 minutes covered and we'll be back. Hey, y'all. Look at this casserole. I've had it in the oven covered for 20 minutes. I just got it out. Wouldn't that look so good already? Now, what we're going to do is add us a little bit more cheese on top and pop it back in there for just a few minutes. I'll let you all know how long but goodness it smells good. Y'all would love this. It's such an easy, simple, but delicious dish. When I was looking back through my videos and I seen this, I thought, oh no, that's that casserole that got messed up and it was such a good recipe but then it made me hungry for it after I seen it and so that's why we're doing again and you may have tried this if you seen it the other time. If you did, a comment and let us know what you thought about it. I remember I got a lot of good feedback on it and you know, I don't like to ever aggravate y'all to comment, share, do any of that kind of stuff because I don't like it when people aggravate me to do things but I do appreciate it whenever y'all do leave your feedback but I want to let you know it's not ever expected but I do appreciate each of you that do but don't ever feel obligated because I don't like that that aggravation of stuff like that you know what I mean anyway y'all back in the oven 350 little Belle is over there she's wanting to go out so I put her in a chair I said well sit right there for a second while we add some cheese to this and then I'm going to take her out anyway we'll be back in a second y'all hey y'all let's look at our casserole here I know I've done showed it to you several times but it looks so good y'all. Um so what I did, I just popped this back in the oven on 350 uncovered and I cooked it for about 10 minutes with our cheese on top. Just long enough for it to melt and get good and bubbly and now I'm going to get us some out. Y'all this is so easy and simple even picky, this is perfect for picky eaters. If you have picky eaters, you know, it don't have onions and peppers and it's hard to find a casserole that doesn't have all of that in there and this one does not. This is perfect for a family gathering. Everybody will want the recipe. Getting it everywhere. Ooh, that is hot. Let's see here. And y'all you know I told you Bella was wanting to go out while I took her out as soon as I put that back in the oven and guess what? That groundhog was out there. We didn't see it all day yesterday. I think because the day before it had been out eating and drinking. It was going back and forth from the food to the water. And I thought he has got his belly full and he is sleeping all day today. Well today he's he's finally back out there. She she is not loving it at all. Y'all look at this. It's a I'm telling you what, you can't go wrong with this right here. This is a crowd pleaser. Just a just a pan of goodness and to be so simple, Try to get with that cheese y'all. There we go. Hope y'all had a good day. Um I've had a busy week. I've had a busy ever since I I feel like since Brayden's birthday it's just been busy ever since. Um I hadn't had time to really be on the page much. Um so I know I've got comments and and messages that I've gotta get to. And y'all I'll get to it. Sometimes I've just gotta put my phone down and do other things. Cuz if I don't I'll sit there and mess with it all day long. You know just like you will with anything else. Um So don't think I'm I'm not trying to get back to you because I will. It just sometime takes me a minute. Mm. Just as good as I remember it being. That is so good. You can taste that ranch but it's like a like a mild ranch flavor. So just remember you can always taste it. If you if you're a ranch lover. I know some people like ranch on pizza and everything else. If you're one of those and you might want to add a little bit more for your your liking. But I like just a little bit. Um but that's why you can taste it. Everything's already done when you do your taste. Well unless you don't already have your chicken cooked of course. But go and cook your chicken first before you put it on the oven. But anyway do your little taste test and you may I have one and a half to two tablespoons. Remember, we only added one but it's perfect for me. Mhm. Delicious. I love this. Y'all will love this. If you've made this before, like I said, if you have a second, let us know in the comments. That way other people can just see other opinions except for mine. Except for only mine. Um but now I know everybody doesn't love the same thing and I don't expect everybody to love every single recipe that I make. What a boring world it would be. If everybody loved all of the same stuff. I love to watch cooks and sometimes I make things or I think I don't think I would like that and that's okay. Um it's just part of life. But anyway if you've made this and you liked it or your kids loved it. Let us know. And if you haven't tried it I want you to try it because I tell you what it's a winner. It's a keeper. It's delicious. Alright y'all. I see y'all next time. Buh bye.
