Umbraromantic is a romantic orientation that feels like a room at night. Everything is blurred, objects in shades of dark colors, hardly able to stand out in the dark of one's room. One can see there's something there, but are unable to make out exactly what it is. This orientation may feel obscured, dark, surrounded by shadows, and difficult to decipher.
Anromance is a lack of interest in all kinds of romantic pleasure, interaction, or attraction, whether it be engaging in it or hearing about other individuals engaging in it. This romantic orientation can also be used to describe hate towards romantic feelings of anybody. This does not mean the individual hates another, or themselves, or discriminates against others. It just means one has an intense hate towards any romantic feelings they have towards another or themselves.

A kenobutch individual would be typically a lesbian or otherwise sapphic person, who has a masculine and kenous gender and/or presentation. The term "butch" tends to denote a degree of masculinity beyond what would be considered typical of a tomboy. The counterpart to this term is kenofemme and their conjoined term is kenofutch.
