These Burano needlelace table covering cloths are reminiscent of a very grand and regal period in linens. Dates from the edge of early twentieth-century. The cloth is all hand done. Burano is an island in thee lagoons near Venise and shares the lacemaking history of that fabled city of lace, from 1870 to about 1920s.
