Like most clubs on the Sunset Strip, the Roxy has a grand and sordid past rich with Hollywood history. The Deco-style marquee isn’t as flamboyant as it once was, but the nearby pole sign and its animated R still rocks on. Sure, the Rainbow Bar and Grill's backlit plastic pole sign isn’t going to win any design awards, but c’mon, it’s a rainbow in West Hollywood. Photo by Joshua Barash.
