But as I started pulling some of my ornaments out of the box this year, I was inspired to make some of my own. Ones that incorporate the evergreen trees around me to highlight this winter season. These ornaments turned out beautifully - and can be made anytime of year with various plants! For this collection, I used cedar, grand fir, and hiba arborvitae. When looking for your plant material, make sure you are finding some that are sturdy and will not fall apart easily.
