A penthouse apartment in San Francisco, California. The apartment was gutted and redesigned to reflect the elegance of Robert Adam and the eighteenth-century Hôtel d'Orrouer in Paris by Pierre Boscry. A porthole window, lay lights, matte white paneling, and waxed, aged parquet de Versailles together with white fluted pilasters, rosettes, high ceilings, arches in enfilade make a classical statement while conveying modern openness.
