and red berries

Christmas to me.

This afternoon the decorating

of our white Christmas tree

began...

Talking about My Girl

These country horizons

made

my heart

sing

Gazing

upon these fields

gives

this

country-girl-at-heart

wings

~

I love the softness

of the

subdued colours

of this season..

Nature..

(even when

flowers and plants

die away for the season)

is still

esctatically

beautiful

~

Last weekend

while my boys

were enjoying

sports-related activities..

my beautiful daughter

Carrie and I

ventured on the roads

to

the lovely

St. Jacobs

for the day...

We enjoyed

the village

with its quaint little shops

~

That evening

the whole village

was going to be

lit up

and sparkly

with their

Christmas celebration..

~

My daughter

loved this sight

in the window of one shop...

It was about

a foot high

and she said "Mom get a photo of this"!

So I did ..:)

~

While I drove

on

down the country road

she shot

this

all on her own

and I had to laugh

when she showed me!

~

The apple

doesnt fall far from the tree...

:)

I love this girl!!!

She blesses my socks off!!
