Hello there!!
Hope you all are enjoying some warm weather
wherever you are!
It's finally safe to plant
and that's what I have been doing.
Last year my hubby brought this home...
an old chippy painted claw foot bath tub.
It is now in our back yard
beside my shabby shed
filled with some annuals.
Love it!
It's a breath of fresh air for the yard!
I LOVE creative gardening!
I was focusing on pink and white...
to give it a shabby feel.
:)
Hope it fills in nicely as it grows...although I didn't leave it much room to!
Lol
My first PEONY is looking wonderful!
I'm more than excited about this bloom.
It looks so healthy!
I'll reveal more as she opens.
I have a very small flower garden but I love it!
I can't wait for my first hydrangea to bloom!
My hubby is putting up a fence "inside of our fence".
Make sense? Lol
I asked for a section of the yard where our 5 dogs couldn't have access
because of flowers
so he is going to put up a fence that was actually offered to me
by my sister as they redid their fence at their cottage.
Did she know I was dreaming of having another fence? No!
But she thought of me, and my shabby chic love and thought her white fence might be something I'd like.
I can't wait to have it up.
Photos later!
Of course I can't forget a hanging basket
on my shabby shed!
This year I chose snapdragons!
Love them and their softness.
They are such a happy, bubbly bloom.
Holidays are almost here and I am so excited
to have some "quiet time away".
I'll have some time to myself for a few days
and then be visiting our sweet boys for a few as well!
I have to pinch myself to see if its real!
I love everything about this trip.
The time on the road,
the scenery,
the contemplation,
music,
little stops along the journey.
The reunion with our boys.
Its all so sacred to me.
I'll be sure to post when I return
with some pastoral beauty to show you.
Hope your days and your moments
are filled with
wonder
&
joy!
All my heart,
Deborah xo
