This is the only album by SYLVIA STRIPLIN, who was a vocalist of the Eighty Ladies under Roy Ayers after joining Aquarian Dream led by Norman Connors, released from Roy's "Uno Melodic" label in 1983. In addition to classic numbers such as "You Can't Turn Me Away" (B1), which was made famous by the cute intro to "Get Money" by Junior Mafia feat Biggie, and "Give Me Your Love" (C1), which was made popular by both house and hip-hop listeners by "Full Moon" by Armand van Heerden feat Common. Common, as well as the mellow disco "Look Toward The Sky" (A1), the boogie groove of "Toy Box" (A2), and the exhilarating, string-laden All Alone" (B2), the only slow soul song on the album, "Will We Ever Pass This Way Again" (C2), "Searchin" (D1), a funky tune for the floor, and "You Said" (D2), which features a Minnie Riperton-like high tone.
