Road trip case!

Hello! After a long no post time dedicated to work and also to holiday, here I am with a new project...one of those I like so much.

This case tool holder is so cute that I liked right away. It is big enough to hold everything that I need to have on hand but not too bulky.

I , to be sure, have added a transparent pocket to the original pattern for reaping even the my many (too many) pens and markers.

As you can see here, nothing has changed ...

... Trudi is always my faithful helper and the hostess of my work table.

Melody Miller Ruby Star big bag

From Birmingham I brought the fabrics of Melody Miller and of course I could not wait to use them. The big bag is a perfect project for these fabrics beautiful to work with and stunning to see.

I love my new bag suitable to carry in all ... even for a short weekend!

BOM 2013

These are the very early blocks I made for the BOM 2013 class that will start in February.

I'm happy for how they turned out and hope the class could have the same success of the last year BOM (if you are curious have a look here to see the BOM2012 ).

The second project on which I'm working in this days is an assembling log cabins bag.

On the left the original project made with wool and on the right the log cabins piece with which I will make the next.

New Project

Log cabin squares quilted as you go...

...they will be assembled to make a bag...

...progress tomorrow!

Nothing really new...just the same fabric bag ( tut here ) with a little variation...I have used a laminated fabric. So the bag could be used as a cosmetic case or to keep the hairbrush and the suntan cream into the beach bag. BUT , if you have had a look to my blog , you have noticed something new... a new no color header... I wanted something different but without to become too much different...what do you think? I will be happy to hear your feedback!

Fabric Bag again...

The same bag (tut here ) of the last post but with the colors of the sea...and , about the project , I have added a light weight interface to the outer fabric only. It helps the bag to have a better look !
