    Primitive keyboards, vocals, tapes, synthesized speech and the sound of a dissolving Vitamin C tablet are fed into a broken laptop running Fruity Loops 3.5 to create what eventually became the emotional computer music of Kimberlin.
    The album features the short lived but powerful Yaaard big band (Chris, Jemima & Nala) trying to get as lost as possible with the tools at hand.

Alternative soundtrack to the film Kimberlin made by a self learning computer. This tape starts off in a neon lit animated petting zoo where animals dance trails in and out of a steady boom tsh figure, a flight of fantasy from a childhood jacked on sugar while jamming Space Harrier that ends up sleep deprived in a pile of fizzing crackle and sampled purr. While these tracks are firmly Yaaard the rest of this tape sits in far more recognisable territory which reminds me of going to play Nintendo/SEGA at a friends while jamming iiird generation copies of classic hiphop joints. Fruity looped drum machine funk, glorious keyboard melodies & guitar as synthesiser or synthesiser as guitar texture floating under clouds of computerised synthetic speech lullaby and boy/girl harmony counterbalance. A full stop on the past and a doorway to the future.
