re:flect recording's first release of the year & first solo album ever as well as CØUNT's debut solo release under his alias Calcul8 comes with twelve tracks that stand second to none, crafting a sonic realm of cinematic sci-fi futurism, metallic percussion, and mystical vocals – all wrapped in a hypnotic, dystopian atmosphere.
The driving, pounding yet groovy rhythms blend sound elements from tribal, dungeon, trance over minimal techno to even industrial aspects where subtle hints of his main project shine through, adding even more layers to the soundscape & giving the album its unmistakable edge.
The concept behind the album is that each track stands as a storytelling piece that works just as well as an individual journey as it does a powerful tool seamlessly woven into a set. At the same time, the album as a whole follows this idea and strikes a perfect balance between narrative depth and functional sound design.
