These readings reflect Braxton’s penchant for jaggedness but are not from his more abstract periods in the 2000s and 2010s. This is easily one of the most aggressive and brutal releases in my collection and I have a lot of extreme metal. Remember, before there was metal there was free jazz! It sounds like a trainwreck involving crying elephants and lots of confused shocked people running around trying to coordinate a rescue effort. This will teach you not to judge an album by it's cover! Very shocking and invigorating. Well done!
