Robert H. Engelhardt

Robert H. Engelhardt is a professional software developer with more than twenty years of experience supporting the National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) and the Department of Energy (DOE).

For more than a decade, Robert has worked at Sandia National Laboratories (SNL), where he is presently a Distinguished Member of Technical Staff — R&D S&E Computer Scientist and team lead, responsible for a portfolio of enterprise-wide IT software systems.

Prior to his tenure at SNL, he contributed his expertise to Honeywell Federal Manufacturing & Technologies in Albuquerque, now associated with the Kansas City National Security Campus (KCNSC).

Robert resides in New Mexico, where he shares his home with four cats and maintains a small flock of retired chickens on his approximately one-acre property.

Outside of his professional life, Robert's interests include binging audiobooks on long walks, indulging his hobby of collecting hobbies, and nurturing an unsatiated curiosity — a driving force in both his personal and professional explorations.
