Graphic Design USA (GDUSA) has included USC Roski in its 2026 list of top schools for design in the United States. In early May, USC Today published an article on Roski professor Edgar Arceneaux and his recent revisitation of a public art project with the Bob Lucas Memorial Library and Literary Center. Written by Grayson Schmidt and titled Altadena mural holds special place for two generations of Trojans, the article discusses how Arceneaux led community efforts to repaint the mural adjacent to the Literacy Center, which is the same mural he had originally been commissioned to paint roughly twenty-five years ago. USC Roski Professor Emerita Mary Kelly has been welcomed into the American Academy of Arts and Sciences as an outstanding individual in the visual arts. Kelly is among the 250 honorees in the 2026 cohort of new Academy members, and is recognized for her exceptional contributions to her field. Learn more here.
