Ahh yes, I remember the feeling: floating through the streets of Hong Kong, in an altered state, blissing out to the wonderfully unique music of Bölzer. Their sound is strikingly atmospheric, a true standout in extreme metal. Soma was my intro to this two-man Swiss outfit, and for me, this album represents their high point — the album that made me a legit fan. All their studio albums are impressive, and despite being only two members, they absolutely crush it in their live videos as well.
