English Tudor Bed
In 16th Century Tudor England, many homes had thatched roofs which, though picturesque, sometimes were less than perfect in keeping out visitors such as birds and bats. Thus the bed became one’s “house within a house”; a sense of security that is still prized today. This is a reproduction bed believe it or not and the other furniture is not period Tudor but what a happy mixture! Yes please!!
