I’ve had quite a few questions about my Hexie flower project, so here you go! The original cushion that I made had 16 hexie flowers appliquéd onto coloured low volume backgrounds. Swipe to see. My plan is to make a queen size quilt with 400 Hexie flowers. So I had to baste 2800 5/8” hexagons, which I then sewed together to make 400 flowers.
