(Ch. 8) I met up with Bill today; we ate at Madame Lecomte’s restaurant. It had many other people, so we had to stand up and wait for a seat. It took forty-five minutes. Bill has an odd fixation with stuffed animals, especially dogs. "Mean everything in the world to you after you bought it. Simple exchange of values. You give them money. They give you a stuffed dog"(78). We met up with others, and I suggested drinks, but, they turned it down. Bill and I then decided to go watch a fight.
