Apollo

Apollo Apollo keeps the sun moving and controls plague as well as healing and cleansing the world. Apollo is a prophet, god of music, poetry, art, plague, oracles, archery, light, and sun. Zeus and Leto are Apollo's parents and Artemis is his twin sister. The children of Apollo are Asclepius, Troilus, Aristaeus, and Orpheus and he had many wives such as Hecuba. Apollo has many jobs such as pulling the sun across the sky with his chariot and bringing/prevent plague to the world. Apollo is handsome with golden hair and a young man with laurel leaves. Apollo is wise, kind, and cheerful. He is also energetic and a firm believer in right and wrong. Some symbols of Apollo are the dolphin, wolf, and swan. A story about Apollo is he had affections for Cassandra, a prophet, but they were rejected by her and she was mortal, so he punished her by arranging it so that her prophecies would never be believed. Apollo is often connected with The Odyssey through the Trojan War and helping kill Achilles. Cadbury Chocolate connects with Apollo as both have an "a" in it and both are cheerful.
