Someone in the 1800's, took a French linen sheet and surrounded the sides in 18th century toile valances, to make this bed valance!~ It's so clever and beautiful! There are a number of different antique toiles, some from the 1700's and others from the very early 1800's ~ It may have also been a bed canopy textile also. so would have hung above the bed the linen…
