Growing up, this song was not only one of joy and love, but one that now evokes nostalgia and pride in my heritage. For those who don't know, "Cielito lindo" is a popular Mexican song that was made popular in 1882 by Mexican author Quirino Mendoza y Cortés. It's a song that is also sang to many children so this print is perfect in nurseries as well as other parts of the house. This print is in honor of not only that song but everything it means. The mountains in this print represent La Sierra Madre, calling attention to the Mexican references in the song.
