Our living room shelving unit is still my favourite IKEA hack so far. I used 4 x tall Billy bookcases and 2 x small Billy bookcases to create the shell. I then attached MdF around the shelves to create a boxed in look. I used caulk to fill in the shelf holes and MdF to create a fluted look on the doors, then painted all the shelves with @valsparpaintuk Thames fog. Finally, our @imaginfires wood burner, which uses biofuel so only needs a faux flue, completes the look. What do you think...

HAVSTA HACK • I can't actually believe this Havsta hack by @champagne.chaos is 2 years old now! The colour combination here works soo well, and it really is a genius idea to create a coffee nook if you have the space for it in your kitchen. I am toying with the idea of creating coffee nook in my kitchen - currently, we seem to have a traffic jam every morning at breakfast time with toast/tea/coffee making!
