A Bento Box a single-portion takeout or home-packed meal common in Japanese cuisine. A traditional bento holds rice, fish or meat, with pickled or cooked vegetables, usually in a box-shaped container. Typically healthy due to being comprised of Whole Foods.

My mom made these kraut burgers for us when I was a child, they were my favorite comfort food then and I still enjoy making and sharing them today. The filling is beef enchilada with cabbage and onions, wrapped with a delicious yeast bread. So good. You can make these from scratch or take some shortcuts.
