I didn’t know I would love sewing embroidered eyes this much!! It took me way too long to try them, but these make such an easy alternative to safety eyes! (I love that you can add them after the animal is already closed, if need be!? 👏) Please note: I can’t take credit for coming up with this eye design; I have seen it many times and loved it, so I re-created it here. ☺️

Here is how yoi can do it: 1️⃣ Insert the needle into the head and take it out where you want the bottom of your eye to be 2️⃣ Depending on how big your eyes you want to have, insert the needle with the yarn few rows above (I skipped 2 rows) 3️⃣ Repeat this process as many times as you like depending on how big you want your eye to be, adjusting the yarn with your fingers to the sides as you go That’s it! Super easy, right? If you like, you can embroider eye white as I did on the side as well as make a little stitch inside of the black part of the eye to create a sparkle. Let me know if you tried it! 😊 ✨Crochet pattern for Flora the Cow is on my Etsy and Ravelry stores OliyankoAmi #crochetaddict #crochettoy #crochetcommunity #amigurumimay2024 #amigurumitoys #amigurumicommunity
