a person holding up a piece of candy bar with nuts on it and the words pay day candy bars
8.2K views · 1.1K reactions | 5 ingredient PayDay candy bars! They’re gluten free, dairy free, and refined sugar free, and so easy to make. Ingredients: •1 cup natural peanut butter •1/4 cup coconut oil •1/4 cup raw honey or pure maple syrup •1 1/2 tsp pure vanilla extract •peanuts Instructions: 1. First, melt the coconut oil then add it to a bowl along with the peanut butter, honey/maple syrup, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth then set aside. 2. Next, line a standard loaf pan with parchment paper and cover the entire bottom of the pan with peanuts. 3. Pour the peanut butter mixture over the peanuts then place the loaf pan in the freezer for 30 minutes. 4. Once the peanut butter layer has hardened slightly, remove the loaf pan from the freezer and sprinkle the top with peanuts. Gently press the peanuts into the peanut butter layer then place the loaf pan back in the freezer for 6+ hours, or overnight. 5. Once the desert is completely frozen, remove from the freezer and slice into bars then dig in and enjoy! Store leftovers in the freezer (or in the fridge if you want them softer). Notes: •Step 1: if using unsalted peanut butter, add 1/2 tsp salt to the peanut butter mixture. •Step 4: if the peanut butter layer is too hard to press the peanuts into, let it sit out and soften for several minutes before adding the peanuts. #paydaycandybar #refinedsugarfreetreats #glutenfreedessert #dairyfreedessert #vegandessert #healthycandy #peanutbutter #healthydessert | Ruth Anne Bigley | Facebook

175K views · 4.6K reactions | Easter Cracker Crack | #mrsbrownskitchen | By Mrs. Brown’s Kitchen | Made the rule that this cracker crack can only be enjoyed at Christmas time? I'm not waiting till next Christmas. I am making Easter crack. Now I think graham cracker crack is superior to salting cracker crack. I got my cookie sheet lined with graham crackers. In a sauce pan over medium heat, one in one quarter sticks of butter and one in one/ 4 cup of brown sugar. Now something has to give this an Easter vibe. Gonna give these a little blitz in my mini food processor. In the brown sugar and butter comes to this gentle boil, you're going to time it and leave it here for four to five minutes stirring occasionally. After the butter and brown sugar mixture has cooked for 5 minutes, you're going to pour this onto your crackers and spread it evenly to all the corners. Make sure every bit of cracker is covered with that butter sugar mixture. Pop this into a 350 degree oven for 5 minutes. As soon as you take that out of the oven, you're going to put two cups of chocolate chips on top. Leave it for a minute or two and then you're going to spread it around. Now everything's hot and melty. And now you want to decorate this all Eastery. For me it got to be Cadbury mini eggs. I got lots of dusty pieces and I got some whole pieces. Now the hard part you gotta let this set for an hour or two before you can crack that apart and enjoy it. I'm curious. Do you prefer salting crackers, pretzels, or graham crackers? People are very particular about this. I feel like there's no wrong way to have it. However, I do love the graham crackers. Mm. Stuff is crazy addictive. It's no wonder they call it crack. I like to store this in a Ziploc bag. I know you're going to ask me how long is it good for and how long does it last? I can't answer you that question. What I can tell you is that it never lasts long enough in my house for me to have to question that. And at least now I don't have to wait till Christmas to enjoy some cracker crack.
