Landscaping Fences

Susan and Mike want to block a view of a busy side street from their kitchen. The challenge is to block the street view year around without making them feel "blocked in" . Th fence needs to be about 6 feet high and will border the near sid of their driveway.

You may also want to mix styles of fencing....some open, some solid. This could also be done with trellis and solid fencing.

Fencing does not have to be straight. With a free form fence like this you could plantings on both sides. In addition it would be easy to custoize height from six feet where the view is most bothersome to a lower height where you can't see the street from the kitchen.
