A few pictures of some favourites out of the kiln this morning 🖤 I am as always in awe of the material and visual transformation of clay during the stoneware firing process. Sometimes it is a long time between my firings, and I get lost in making work - without getting to see an instant finished result. So it’s always very exciting to open a kiln and examine each piece. As a mid fire - this black clay has such a beautiful quality to it when fired to a higher temp! .
