Getting it Together: from colonies to federation
Getting It Together is an inquiry based unit of work which examines each Australian state’s unique journey to federation using historical sources such as newspaper extracts, cartoons, speeches and biographies. Students participate in written, visual and physical activities. These activities allow students to construct their own knowledge whilst also incorporating new knowledge (Reynolds, 2014).
