Sam on Instagram: "Still in the holiday crafting spirit? Or need a last minute gift to give during the holidays or for the new year? These DIY ornaments and garlands are smoother and sturdier than classic salt dough, and they’re so fun to make! 🎄

The recipe is simple: 1 cup of baking soda, ¾ cup of water, and ½ cup of cornstarch. Add everything into a pot on the stove over low medium heat. Stir frequently and after 5-10 minutes you’ll notice your dough resembles a mashed potato consistency. Remove the dough from the pot and let it cool off to the side for 15 minutes.

After letting the dough cool off, start making your ornament shapes! On a clean surface, roll out the dough (thinner ornaments bake better!) and use cookie cutters to make your fav shapes. Don’t forget to poke holes for a r

Creating this show pushed me to rethink how I work. I’m usually all about finishing lots of things fast, but this time, I had to slow down - chipping away bit by bit, trusting that it would all come together in the end.

Where my Barbie fans at?! Introducing my handmade one-of-a-kind Barbie Art shadowboxes filled with original vintage and modern barbie pieces from the 70's to now. These salvaged trinkets have be arranged and glued on a sturdy art board backing and finished with a timeless white frame; perfect for any coloured wall! Title: 'Bs's workout world' 12" x 12" Featuring vintage sporty Barbie clothes and accessories from the 80s and 90s - sooo much nostalgia! The art itself is 7.5" x 7.5" on a 12" x 12" board. The frame is 12.75" x 12.75" x 1.2" approx and includes a latch on the back for hanging. I don’t know if it’s just me but my toxic trait is thinking I can skip beginner and go straight to expert on my first try. Hallo ihr Lieben,
Keksausstecher nutze ich seit Jahren, aber sie sind doch immer wieder eine gute Hilfestellung.
In diesem Reel zeige ich euch zwar Geschenkanhänger, aber zum einen lassen sie sich auch als Karte umgestalten (die Rückseite bietet ausreichend Platz, um einen Gruß zu hinterlassen), zum anderen könnt ihr natürlich auch Keksausstecher für Kartenmotiv verwenden.
Die Motive aus Keksausstecher sind übrigens vielseitig einsetzbar. Neben Geschenkanhänger könnt ihr sie auch einfach als Christbaumschmuck weiter verwenden oder legt sie euch als Lesezeichen in ein Buch. Auch um Adventstütchen aufzuhübschen (24 Stück sind recht schnell gemacht, dazu könnt ihr auch unterschiedliche Ausstechformen nutzen,

I used a laser print of my high contrast B&W photo of a pink door in Spitalfields, London. The toner on the laser print resists the thin layer of paint, leaving it on the mat! It’s crazy how it works!!! A bit of reverse painting then a layer of paint to pull the print. For best results, weight and wait!
