Eleonora di Garzia di Toledo was born in Florence, Italy in 1553 making her a contemporary of England's Queen Elizabeth I. While not much is truly known about Eleonora, several portraits of her have been more recently identified. This Italian Renaissance necklace is a replica from one such portrait by Alessandro Allori and came about as a custom order I made several years ago. This necklace will be made just for you, please allow 1 to 2 weeks to ship This necklace is made using several raw brass filigrees which have been sealed with Renaissance Wax to make them more tarnish resistant.
