"Not really sure what to say about this tool other than it would be great for poking into tight areas on your pottery. Great for detail work and just looks pretty cool. This tool measures about 5\" long by 3/4\" wide. I start with an idea and a beautiful piece of wood. After cutting out the design on my band saw I carefully refine the rib on the belt sander. Here is where I bring the rib to life with a finally detailed curve, it is very important to me is that there aren't any nicks or flat spots. I work on the shape of the rib until I am satisfied with the sweep of the curves. Lastly, I hand rub the rib with a mixture of mineral oil and beeswax to bring out the inner beauty of the wood and to give it some protection. I'm a woodworker and a potter, too.
