"Rum Bar Records' West Coast expansion continues in impressive fashion with the release of a fantastic new album from veteran Orange County punk rock band Foxy." - Lord Rutledge
"The album is a 30 minute blast of crackling, garagey, melodic punk rock that would have fit right in back in '79. Reminiscent of X and Social Distortion in the early years, you can hear the Cali sound in Foxy's DNA." - Mr. Suave
"Foxy favour a repetitive, Ramones-ish feel on the verses of the brilliant ‘Tonight’, a track which fuses pop punk and garage rock with ease. Ensuring this doesn’t just turn into the millionth rehash of ‘Blitzkrieg Bop’, however, the band add some extra flair which works brilliantly. There’s a huge, harmony filled chorus which sounds like a more sugary Donnas, a layer of extra bell-like percussion which brings an unexpected 70s tone, and finally, a round of gang vocals advertising Foxy’s grittier side. In and out in under three minutes, this is a masterclass in garage rock/melodic punky goodness." - Real Gone
"This was in the period after Punk, around the time of New Wave in the UK. Rumbar Records have a happy knack of taking me back to this time. Sweaty bars, mayhem in the audience as you wore yourself out moving and shaking to music that just gripped you with its energy, big choruses and riffs. Foxy are a quartet who take me back to 1979 and all its glory. They certainly have a great front person in Lisa Parker and a sound built on a fine rhythm section with driving Basslines and in Greg Antista, they have a Guitarists who knows a riff when he hears one. Tonight Tonight is wall to wall energy. Sub 3 minute songs that launch into massive choruses and killer solos. Incredibly melodic and particularly gripping, all attitude. The band cross through genres with a down and dirty smile. From Punk to Indie Rock via New Wave and sussed out Streetwise know how." - I Don't Hear A Single
"When you discover the ultra-full resumes of the four members of Foxy, you're not surprised by the excellence of this "Tonight Tonight" LP (Lisa Parker on vocals, known to our services for having been a member of 4 Gazm, an all-female punk band). They present here 10 songs that will thrill all fans of Punk 77, with a strong blend of Power Pop, a touch of the original spirit of New Wave, and a touch of Glitter Rock, administered by three doctors and one female doctor of Rock who have a great mastery of composing instantly catchy songs and performing them with the intensity and precision in the arrangements to make them unforgettable! Damn what a blast!!!!" - Voix de Garage Grenoble
"Tonight Tonight is a 30-minute blast of poppy garage powerpop’n’roll, the kind of punchy sweetness that fits Rum Bar Records like a vintage leather glove. These ten tracks bounce with just enough edge to keep the sugar in check. It’s rock-’n’-roll for punk rockers — and vice versa. Uncomplicated, catchy, and fun as hell. Ideal for sunshine, open windows, and a case of bubblegum that never loses flavor." - Add To Want List
"If anything, what strikes me is the fun that Foxy must have had creating these songs. They must have known that they had punk gold in their hands. Yes, Rum Bar has a few bands like Foxy on its roster, like Watts and The Shang Hi Los. Foxy has just as much melody but certainly is louder and a bit wilder. The pop feel is there, as the songs are meant to please, yet, more in style of the early Blondie, the one of before 'Parallel Lines'. Listen to 'Overrated' to hear what I mean. Tonight Tonight is another point of proof that it's still possible to write great songs in a genre where everything seems to have been said and done. Surprises all around, were it not that Rum Bar has an uncanny nose for the best bands in this genre. Bands most people have never heard if, but should. Foxy is one of those. Things do not get much better." - WoNo Blog
"Tonight Tonight builds on the classic So-Cal punk sound of Foxy's previous releases. You can still expect hard-hitting melodic punk with LP's dynamic vocals, but on this release the band isn't afraid to embrace a more overtly pop approach with a tough rock 'n' roll edge. At just ten tracks, this is the quintessential all-killer, no-filler affair. If you love kick-ass old school punk rock that's got a pop sensibility without necessarily being "pop-punk," you're gonna want to check out this record. The massive backing vocals and melodic lead guitar are signatures of SoCal punk, but the overall vibe of this record is just great, high energy punk rock 'n' roll. When you invest years of blood, sweat, and tears into making a record, you want to make sure you totally crush it. And Foxy has done just that. If Tonight Tonight is your very first exposure to this band, you will definitely be left wanting more." - Faster And Louder
"We're already excited about listening to Foxy's catalog more deeply!" - If It's Too Loud
"This Foxy mixes punkrock The Ramones style with sharp lead guitar solos. It plays sped up The Beach Boys style rock and roll as The Ramones used to do and artists like Geoff Palmer and Brad Marino are so good at today. Foxy brings just this little extra punk credibility to Rock And Roll Crime but not without forgetting to add some great pop elements like handclaps and a great chorus like 'Rock and Roll High School' or 'I Love Rock and Roll' have. To all appearances, I'd say that Foxy found out where Abraham has stashed his mustard. This is punk-pop-rock and roll to the max." - WoNo Blog
