I have over 20 years of experience making purpose-built and easy to use web applications that solve real world problems.
Over the years I've been involved with the development of hundreds of apps, websites and interactive projects in roles from developing initial concepts and user experience to rapid prototyping and visual design, to front and backend programming as well as DevOps and infrastructure as code. Because of this, I have a wide understanding of some of the subtle challenges and technical headaches that can arise over the course of a project's life.
I'm fluent in Ruby, Ruby on Rails, HTML, CSS and JavaScript and am a quick learner with a care for detail and love of solving problems and learning new skills.
Currently based in Portland, Oregon, I'm open to remote work and travel.
