I am an Assistant Professor at the University of Tübingen in the Health NLP lab. My research focuses on information retrieval, including basic research into retrieval models, query processing, evaluation, and applications to health and medicine.

Previously, I was an Alexander von Humboldt research fellow in the Temir group at Leipzig University. Before that, I was a postdoctoral research fellow in the ielab group at The University of Queensland, where I also completed my PhD.
