Wedding guest book/ Gjestebok til bryllup

Hi blogging friends. Hope you are doing well!
Here is a wedding book I made for our wedding guests to write a little message or good luck wishes at our wedding  last year.

Denne boken lagde jeg til bryllupet vårt i fjor, boken ble lagt frem slik at alle gjestene kunne skrive en liten hilsen til bruddeparet. Veldig koselig å ha senere!

I bought a notebook in vintage style to decorate.  I basically used the same embellishements on this as   I did on the placement cards.

Here are the table cards. Tutorial can be found HERE.
Her er bordkortene, jeg har laget en tutoral tidligere, den finner du  HER.

Papers are Maja Design, Sofiero collection, flowers are WOC, Key and clock charm and lace from the LLC store, Birdcage from Dusty Attic. The beutiful wedding sentiment is by Stempelglede. I also used Spellbinder Decorative Labels 28, Lifestyle crafts cirkeldiesg and lace cirle dies,  Memorybox heart die, Melissa Frances – garnish applique corners.
Boken var i Ett Trykk i juni 2014.

Here's a coulple of closeups:) Hope you like it!

Thanks for stopping by today, wishing you a creative day!

DT Ett Trykk: Daily Planner for 2014

Good morning peeps

Today I want to show you I made a planner for 2014 using an old book and some pretty design papers. We are having an advent calendar over at the Ett Trykk blog. Each day of december the DT girls are giving you inspiration using tutorials and sketches from this years magazines. We hope to inspire your christmas preparations. Here is a gift idea for you.

I have used a recycling- tutorial from the August edition of the magazine made by Camilla.

I removed the pages of a book and made it into a planner. I used some elastic ribbon and a Tim Holtz door nob as an opening mechanism. I covered the lace, letters and charm with liquitex gloss gel medium to make it stick when the planner goes in and out of the owners purse:)

I decorated the inside with bazzill and design papers. I removed the front and back of a 2014 planner and attached it to the back cover of the book.

I used elastic ribbon and brads to make a place to stick pens and utilities for the planner.

Here is the back of the book. i was planning on making a pocket, but I ended up leaving the last page blank, showcasing the gorgeous papers.

Materials used :
Maja Design - design papers, Vintage Autumn Basic collection
Bazzill - Kartong
Magnolia - Tilda Lace die
Ranger- Distress ink, Walnut stain
Tim Holtz - door nob
Unknown - lace, seambinding, brads and a charm
Basic Grey - Sticker letters
I also used a book, some elastic ribbon and a planner

You can find the tutorial in Ett Trykk Magazine 3/2014.
Please stop by the Ett Trykk blog to see our inspiration every day until christmas eve.

Thanks for stopping by today,
Wishing you a great week!

DT Midweek Magnolias- Song inspiration

If you are looking for the winner of the Copic Marker Norge blog hop, please scroll down.

Good morning peeps,
Hope you are well. Fall is here and the mornings are cold and grey...brr... Summer feels so far away. On my way to work I usually listen to the radio, and last week I heard the song "Summertime" by George Gershwin, and my thoughts went back to the lazy days of this summer.

We want you to be inspired by a song (- not a birthday song) over at the Midweek Magnolias this time.
I usually listen to music or radio when I color and make my cards, so this week's challenge was perfect for me.

I altered an old picture frame. I painted it a few times with gesso and white paints, then I decorated it with flowers and two of the cute Tilda's from the summer kit. I put in one of my favorite pictures of my daughter from this summer. It was taken on midsummer night, we had an evening picnic with our neighbors, with a bonfire and live music, and we had lots of fun making her a  flower wreath... Oh I do miss summer...lol.

All flowers are by WOC and the butterflies are made with a small punch I bought ages ago.

I colored the images with distress ink markers. And here's a closeup of my beautiful 7 year old :)

Please stop by the Midweek Magnolias to see the gorgeous creations of the rest of the DT and find out the details on how to join in.

Thanks for stopping by my blog today,
wishing you a wonderful wednesday!

Copic Marker Norge #39

Good morning friends and followers!
Just popping in this morning to share my DT creation for Copic Marker Norge.
We have a new challenge for you today:

Use a sketch and something made of metal.

I made a door hanger for my daughter. A little brighter colors than my usual soft tones, but she insisted on the pink an turquoise...lol...

I used papers from Bildmålarna and Pion Design, the flowers are WOC and I used some charms from my stash (metal). The lace is from Kort og Godt and I used Spellbinder dies. The letters are made with my old pink quick kutz squize:) I used my sewing machine along the edges of the design papers.

The image is the a cute Bestie from Sherri Baldy, my daughter and her friends simply adores them and they are so much fun to color!
