Things are calming down at my house about now, house is clean, decorations are up, food is ready to be cooked tomorrow and all presents are made or bought. So it's time to relax and enjoy the Christmas weekend fully!

Pop up card for christmas

Hi crafty friends, 

Popping by to share one of the cards I made a year ago when I was the designer of the month in the december edition of Ett Trykk Magazine. I didn't publish them here last year because when I was allowed to, christmas was history...lol. But i thought I would share them this year.

Here's the first of the bunch. It's one of those pop up cards that was so popular then. I used a tutorial I found over at  Stamping With Sandi, I changed the measurements and design a little, but the idea was hers. 

Hei. Jeg titter innom bloggen for å dele et av de kortene jeg laget i fjord da jeg var gjesteartist i Ett Trykk. Innen det var lov å dele bildene så var jula over, så jeg sparte dem til i år i stedet. 

Dette er et av de pop up kortene som var så populære i fjor- jeg fant malen her: Stamping With Sandi, jeg har endret på målene og designet litt, men malen der derfra.

Julehilsen- Christmas Carolers

Hi crafty friends, 

Today I'm sharing a card I made for the Norwegian Magazine "Julehilsen" this year. This is the first of my two cards. I wanted to use traditional colors, because I love reds and greens for christmas. 

Paper by Papirdesign, dies by La La Land Crafts and Magnolia, I used Martha Stewart Arctic Snowflake punch and embossed using Frantage Chunky White to create the "snow" around the image. 

Image by the talented artist Jade Dragonne from over at deviantart.com. My medium is always Copic Markers and I used lots of different colors on this image. Reds are: E18-07-R24-22, Greens are YG99-97-95-93-91 and W7. 

Dette er et av de to kortene jeg laget til Ett Trykks "Julehilsen" i år. Motivet er fra Jade Dragonne og er fargelagt med Copic Tusjer. Arkene er fra papirdesign og jeg har brukt dies fra Magnolia og La La Land Crafts. Synes dette motivet gir skikkelig julestemning.

Mini Album

Hi Crafty friends,

Here's a mini album I made for the February edtition of Ett Trykk Magazine. 

Her er en minialbum jeg laget for Februarnummeret av Ett Trykk. Dette er en enkel måte å lage et lite minialbum eller bok med små dikt e.l. Det er lett å lage den i hvilken i hvilken størrelse du vil. Du skjærer til sider som du dekorerer og limer sidene sammen med en bit mønsterpapir mellom hver side.

Papers are My Precious Daughter from Pion Design, Roses by Wild Orchid Crafts, Lace from the Live & Love Craft Store. Inside the alum I used K & Company Transfers To go, Horizon Epoxy Stickers, and different kins of charms, washi tape and alphatbet stickers from my stash.

Julehilsen: Merry Christmas

Hi crafty friends,

Here's one of the Christmas cards I made for this years Julehilsen, the special Christmas Edition from Ett Trykk Magazine. 

Her et et av julekortene jeg laget til årets Julehilsen fra Ett Trykk. 

Papers by Maja Design, Sentiments by North Star Design and Norsk Stempelblad AS. 

Dies are Go Create, charms by Kort og Godt and Metallpin by Tim Holtz. i also used cheese cloth and snowflake and text dies Tim Holtz.

Snowflake punch by Rayher and Martha Stewart, and I used an Oval and Scalloped Oval die by Spellbinders. I added Snow Marker to get some snow effect.

Copic colors used: 

Skin: E13-11-21-00, R20

Hair: E44-43-42-41-49

Blues: BV25-23-20, W7

Turqoise: BG75-72-71 (homemade)-70, W7

Mittens and detalis: E79-77-71-70

Background: C1, BV20, B60

 I used the Go Create die as a base for the card. I added a colored image on the inside too.

Same copic colors as on the other image. 

Skis and pants are E44-43-42-41-49, the "white" is C3-1-00 and his hair: E29-5-21

GDT Ett Trykk: Sommerminner

Hi friends, 

Summer is over, and it's back to school, back to work and so on. The weather has been below average  here in Norway this year, but we did enjoy our holidays, and we did collect lots of fun Summer Memories. So I made a box to keep some of them. I made the box from cardstock and decorated it with design papers and lots of dies.

All dies are from the first Magnolia club kit. I remember when I got it I was very disappointed, and thought I would never use them. But I have grown to like them a lot, and I have been using them on quite a few cards this summer. 

The image is Circus Trixie by Little Darling Rubber Stamps/Saturated canary. Copic colors used: 

Hair. E18-14-09-08, Skin: E13-11-21-000, R20

Blue: B000-00-01-05-06

Yellow: YR00-20-21-23, E35

Purple: BV17-15-12-08, V12-20-22

Papers are Melissa Frances. I used a Martha Stewart Deep Edge Punch. Postmark stamps by Kort og Godt. 

Lots of charms I got on ebay, and a few seashells from the beach.

GDT Ett Trykk: Smile it's your birthday!

Hi friends, 

Stopping by today to show you a card I made for Ett Trykk April Edition. It is a birthday card for young girl using the lovely Princess Rose colored as the Disney Princess Belle from Beauty and the Beast. 

I dag viser jeg frem et kort jeg laget for aprilutgaven av Ett Trykk. Et bursdagskort til en ung jente. 

 I used a very soft color- palette on the background to make the image pop. The gorgeous papers and cut out butterflies are by Maja Design. Doily die by Prima and Swirl die by Magnolia. 

Jeg brukte duse, bleke farger på papir og pynt for å få motivet til å stå frem litt mer. Ark og sommmerfugler fra Maja design, dies fra Prima og Magnolia.

GDT Ett Trykk: Happy 10th anniversary!

Hi crafty freinds, 

I hope you are having a great weekend out there. I'm out sick with fever and a cold, so not much crafting going on right now. So bored, but too tired to get out of bed...lol. I figured I would do some blogging while I'm lying here! 

I wantet to show you a card I made for Ett Trykk Magazine, February edition 2015. It was the 10th year anniversary issue, and I'm so proud my card was on the cover:)

I have seen these types of cards around blogland, so I thought I could give it a try. I found a tutorial over at Stampin Up. I made it bigger and used colored images to decorate.

Materials used: 

Sentiment stamps -  Norsk Stempelblad AS

Holtz- Perfect Coloring Paper, 

Pion Design– design papers

Panduro - pearls

Dies: Spellbinders – scalloped cirkledies, La La Land Crafts – Heart banner, Magnolia – Heart tag, Martha Stewart – Butterfly edge punch, 

Silhouette - baloons
Ranger- Distress inks for the edges.

Copic colors used

Images are Sweet Tilda with Balloon and Tiptoe Tilda.

I used the same copic colors on all 3 images and the balloons.

I left room for a personal message on the back. 

The butterflies are leftover from the Martha Stewart butterfly border punch. I colored them with the same copic markers as I did the images.

Happy birthday Ett Trykk! Mini Tutorial on how to color an image with Copic Markers

The Norwegian Magazine Ett Trykk is celebrating their 10 year anniversary! I am honored to join in the celebration with a fun challenge and special post over at the Ett Trykk blog today. Please pop by to join in the fun!

I made two small tutorials on how to color with distress inks and copic markers.

Here's my card using Copic Markers to color the image.

Materials used:  Maja Design design papers, Sizzix Tim Holtz- Picture Wheel dies, Spellbinders - Swirl dies, La La Land crafts - Lattice border dies, WOC og Kort og Godt- flowers, Panduro - pearls. I used my sewing machine on the edges of the designpapers, and Vintage photo distress ink to distress the edges. Sentiment by Norsk Stempelblad.

The image is Rose Red by Little Darling Rubber Stamps.

Here are both images from my example, copics and distress inks. Witch coloring medium do you prefer?

To stamp my image...

I place the rubber stamp on an acrylic block and use Memento Ink
 on Holtz Perfect Coloring Paper.   

SKIN: 

Copic colors used: 

 E000-11-13-21, E93 for the cheeks. 

I went over the image several time with all the markers to get the ink to blend as much as I want.

HAIR:

Colors used: E55-53-57-59- E50. 

I repeated all colors on the hair at least once.

CLOTHES:

 I used  RV99-95-93-91 to color the skirt. YR23-20 and E35 for the bird, YG95-91on the leaves. The backgroud is B60.
