Roger Earl (Drums), when they left Savoy Brown in 1970, along with Rod Price (Guitar, Slide Guitar Ex Black Cat Bones).  The new line-up was named Foghat.  The band is known for its prominent use of Electric Slide Guitar in their music.  The band has achieved 8 Gold Records, one Platinum and one Double Platinum Record.

Lynyrd Skynyrd is an American Southern Rock Band, Originally formed in 1964 as the Noble Five in Jacksonville, Florida  The Band started well-know to worldwide on the basis of Live Performances and their classic tracks:  "Sweet Home Alabama" and "Free Bird" to the peak of success.   Three members died in an airplane crash in 1977 and surviving members re-formed in 1987 for a reunion tour with lead singer Ronnie Van Zant's younger brother Johnny Van Zant as frontman with only Gary Rossington original members remaining in 2012.
