The Exception were an English Rock Band from Birmingham, formed in 1967 by Alan "Bugsy" Eastwood (Drums Ex The Brumbeats), and Roger Hill (Guitar Ex The Brumbeats, later to The Uglys), and Dave Pegg (Bass, Ex The Uglys, later to Band Of Joy, Jethro Tull,  Ian Campbell Folk Group, Fairport Convention).

Levon Helm was an American Musician, Singer, Songwriter and Record Producer, who achieved fame as the Drummer and one of the three Lead Vocalists for The Band.  He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1994.  He was known for his deeply Soulful, Country-Accented Voice, Multi-Instrumental, highlighted on many of The Band's recordings, such as "The Weight", "up On Cripple Creek", and "Thd Night They Drove Old Dixie Down".  In 2016, Rolling Stone Magazine ranked him No. 22 i. its list of 100 Greatest drummers of All Time.

Gunhill Road are an American Folk Rock Band from Mount Vemon, New York, formed in 1969 by Glenn Leopold (Guitar), Steve Goldrich (Piano), and Gil Roman (Bass).  They are best known fofr their lone pop hit, "Back When My Hair Was Short", which peaked at No. 40 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 in June 1973.  On The Cash Box Top 100, the song reached No. 25.  The band released two albums in the 1970s, the second album was released in 1972 and produced by Kenny Rogers.
