Golden willow tree is the Stand out, brilliant blend of broken beats, harp and a shanty apparently based off of a story about Sir Walter Raleigh.
The flute/ synth solo at the end is delicious. For some reason I can here a 140 grime verse over this in my head because of the slightly “medieval” thing and the lean and bounce of the percussion Favorite track: Golden Willow Tree.

Jesse Blue Sam has an uncanny ability to recontextualize the deepest, richest selections of folk songs with the colors of modern jazz and the avant garde, often infused with playfulness, humor, and absurdity. His music is both stirring and soothing; deep and gentle; grounded and exploratory. Favorite track: Three Five.
