The Teacher Traveller - It is a serious mistake to miss the connection between fun and learning. Yes the curriculum requires us to teach children to read, but how that skill is delivered and developed is up to us. Abandon the worksheets in exchange for real experiences which offer children the chance to broaden their opportunities, motivate themselves to be independent learners, maintain curiosity and have a whole lot of fun in doing this.
