First Contact
Whilst visiting Elizabeth Quay, look out for the spectacular giant bird sculpture - First Contact. The sculpture was created by Aboriginal artist Laurel Nannup and was inspired by the Noongar people’s first visions of European settlers, whose distant sailing ships looked like floating birds bearing the white-faced spirits of their ancestors.

One of the best places to take in fabulous views of Perth is the pedestrian bridge at Elizabeth Quay! The bridge is perfect for a stroll and is beautifully lit up in the evenings offering fabulous views day or night of Elizabeth Quay, Perth's CBD, South Perth and the Swan River.
