Pastry Cream: 250ml milk - 50g sugar - 3 egg yolks - Scraped seeds of half a vanilla pod - 20g cornstarch - 25g butter - Pinch of salt. . Prepare pastry cream: Heat milk. Mix egg yolks, sugar, cornstarch, and salt. Add scraped vanilla seeds - slowly pour hot milk into the egg mixture while stirring - return mixture to pot, thicken while stirring - remove from heat, stir in butter - let the cream cool, cover - Bake pastry pieces at 180°C (fan-assisted) for about 15-20 minutes until golden and crispy, then cool - Recipe by @foodwithstyle
