Much of the mythology and pantheon of Japanese gods is derived from the traditional folklore of Shinto – one of the major religions of Japan.

My submission for June 2019 character design challenge! With her illustration style I wanted to reflect the influence of original Japanese ink drawings/paintings with paper textures, little rendering, flat tones and patterns.
