I designed my own fusion wedding dress

TRADITIONS: In the image above we see a Syrian couple celebrating their arada. When a wedding happens in Damascus (capital of Syria) there is a tradition called an arada. An arada is when a car picks up the groom at his house then drives to the bride's house honking the whole way there. Since the chemical attacks and all of the events happened in Syria an arada or a wedding hasn't happening in a long time. This arada was rare.

In fusion weddings, food is more than a meal—it’s a symbol of tradition and hospitality. For many Middle Eastern and South Asian families, serving guests is a way to show love and generosity, with food often taking center stage. When I work with couples, I always suggest weaving cultural touches into their menu.
