👉🏻Cover any inexpensive faux pumpkin or jack-o-lantern in spray paint in the color of your choice (it doesn’t matter what finish)
👉🏻While the paint is still wet, immediately cover the pumpkin in baking soda
👉🏻Use and old makeup brush to light dust the baking soda off of the pumpkin in vertical strokes (or along the ridges) until you reach the desired look

I had the Jack O’ Lantern and supplies already. So, girl math = it was free!! All I used was black acrylic paint, baking soda, and a little gold metallic paint. I’m excited about how he turned out!🎃 Easy DIY to get a designer look!

Here’s how to make them:

1. Grab your supplies. I bought a small, medium and large Jack O’Lantern from Target. I grabbed these specific ones because they are battery operated, with the battery compartment accessible from the bottom of the Jack O’Lantern (more about that later). I also purchased two containers each of beige and brown paint and a box of baking soda. I had a paint brush on hand, but you may need to purchase one. I also had the required batteries on hand, but you may need to purchase those, too.

2. I mixed my paint colors together until I achieved a t Jack O Lanterns, Brown Paint, Amy Lee, Paint Brush, Jack O, Battery Operated, Jack O Lantern, Paint Brushes, Pottery Barn
