We have been asked by many people how our tunnel was constructed. The tunnel itself is a large drain pipe (available from builders merchants), soil was then placed on top and around to create the mound shaping (pack the soil down hard) and then the whole area was turfed. The tunnel ends were purchased but could be made from wood or plastic. The area was then finished off with some log edging.
